What to Expect in an Evidential Mediumship Reading

Thank you for contacting me about a mediumship reading. Before our session, I want to share the information below, which explains how I work as a medium and what you can expect from the reading. I stand behind my work, so I only charge at the end of the reading. If you are unhappy with the session, payment is not required.

Have you had a mediumship reading before? Every medium works differently, and every mediumship reading is unique. I am specifically an Evidential Medium (explained later), and my reading style may differ from other readings you may have had, so please try to refrain from bringing any prior experiences into our session. It is also essential to have an open mind and allow your loved one to convey what they need to, rather than you wanting a specific piece of information that convinces you that your loved one is present. They may mention it, but if not, do not let the outcome of the reading depend on this. Don’t worry; your loved one will bring plenty of other information to let you know they are with you.

​​​​An Evidential Mediumship reading is where I provide unique evidence from your loved one that I would otherwise not have known to prove that their soul continues to exist in the physical world and that communication with them is still possible. You should be able to validate this evidence either during the reading or afterward. These readings are a powerful healing tool that can be uplifting and encouraging and assist with grief from losing a loved one. It may also bring about some peace and closure for you.

There are no timeframes on how long you must wait to have a reading after your loved one has passed; this is up to you and how you are feeling. It is best if you are in a calm state of mind. I know from experience that our loved ones can show up immediately after passing.

Mediumship readings critically depend on a three-way flow of energy between you, your loved one, and me, the medium. It is essential that you had a strong and/or loving connection with them at one time, and that you know enough details about them to validate what I bring through. Please do not book a reading out of curiosity to see how mediumship works or for people you didn’t know well, such as your ancestors. ‘Testing the Medium’ and/or keeping a ‘poker face’ during the reading, stops my flow of energy.

​Your loved one may bring in different types of information, such as their personality, shared memories, what you are currently going through, and events that have occurred since they passed. They may talk about gratitude or offer apologies. They may mention happy times or sad times. They will not judge, criticize, or embarrass you. Sometimes, they may withhold information if it serves a purpose not to be shared or if they are not ready to share it. They will never tell you what to do. They will provide loving guidance and messages of comfort for you to help you on your healing journey. 

I do not physically see your loved one or hear their voice, nor can I control what they say. Every loved one has a unique communication style, which tends to mirror how they were in life. Some loved ones are chatty and forthcoming with information, while others are not so easy to communicate with. I wish my conversations with them were as easy as talking on the phone. Instead, they place disconnected bits and pieces of images, words, feelings, or sounds into my mind. I must then interpret these in real time and relay the information to you in a way that you can understand. It's like putting pieces of a puzzle together. I may be off with the exact interpretation, so it may not make complete sense to you, but I will try my best to reword the information in a more meaningful way that you can understand. I aim to provide the best possible connection between you and your loved one, but please understand this is not always possible.

​​Mediumship readings are held over Zoom or Phone. Please be assured that this is no less powerful than having a reading in person. We do not have to be physically present in the same room, as time and distance do not affect the connection.

​I do not believe in dark entities or negative energy; my readings are always in Divine Light and Love. Please feel free to participate in your belief system before we meet. Your privacy and comfort are of utmost importance to me.
